May Your Imagination Run as Wild as a Toddler

It's a very happy 2nd birthday to this little man. Mr. W has been in front of my camera several times and I have loved watching him grow over the last year and a half. I can't believe he's 2 already! This session was all boy and such a perfect location on the family farm. Mr. W's mama chose to do my "Huck Finn" theme to celebrate the big 2 complete with straw hat and fish. Along with Huck Finn I brought along some of my favorite rustic and vintage props including an old wash tub for a little bubble fun.
So toddlers huh, yeah, they run. As soon as babies figure out they have feet ,can confidently put them under their body, and stay upright... they're GONE. Mr. W never stopped during his session. Well, unless it was to try to lug around a suitcase, eat a few gold fish, and splash in a wash tub. I loved the light during this session. It made everything so dreamy and whimsical that I wanted to try something fun. I loaded up the dock and was determined to let little man "fish" to his hearts content. I love the outcome of these super imaginative portraits. Thank you to Mr. W's mama for trusting my vision and for choosing me to continue to capture her little man as he grows. Until next time Mr. W!
