Miss Kristine, it's been quite the year capturing your senior rep experience. However, I think your personal session was by far my favorite session with you. The location was beautiful, the wardrobe was amazing, and the evening was so enjoyable.
If you haven't met Kristine, she fits the boho vibe to a perfect T. Everything about this session was super laid back, simply beautiful, and full of laughter. From photobombing dogs, to pulling a boat, traveling up and down a forested lane, and ending with sunsets on the pond (and more photobombing dogs). It was a night full of beautiful light, a gorgeous girl, and memories to last a lifetime.
With each session I always try to capture as many personal elements as possible. During the slideshow of Kristine's personal session you will see one portrait in particular I captured in hopes of providing Kristine and her family an extra special piece of art. During her session, Kristine changed into the cutest bright red converse. We had just finished taking some headshots in the barn using a vintage soda shop chair and had moved to another corner of the barn. I had her sit and she proceeded to explain to me the importance of her red shoes. These shoes had belonged to her aunt that unfortunately passed away. Kristine wears her red shoes on special occasions not only to remember her aunt but to include her in all her big moments in life. As she is telling me this I notice that, by no special planning on our part, the soda chair had been placed in the light of the open barn door. At that moment it gave me a chill. Not only was Kristine celebrating her aunt in a very special way but "she", herself, pulled up a front row seat to be part of Kristine's senior portraits as well. I quietly recomposed the portrait, knowing I just had to capture the "empty" seat.
From my heart to Kristine and her family, I hope you love each one of her portraits. Thank you for trusting me to capture Kristine for her personal session and for being part of all of the craziness that came with the senior rep program. Miss Kristine, I know you will accomplish everything that your heart desires. You are driven, creative, spunky, goofy, and true to your self. Keep celebrating you! I wish you the very best for your senior year as well as your next chapter. Please enjoy the video slideshow that includes her ENTIRE experience in the senior rep program.
