We didn't have "Fall" for long this year. It's been one crazy season for weather and for this family and it was touch and go whether we would get their beautiful family portraits accomplished. I think both Jessica and I were determined enough to make this happened and the outcome was a beautiful "Fall" morning perfect for some gorgeous family portraits. It was a long commute to the Polfer home... Yeah, no, their beautiful new home is not even a mile from my studio. The lane to the house is what dreams are made of in a photographers mind, the old tree in the backyard is full of charm, and along with an adorable family, I had two cats following me around for the session. It was perfect!
The entire session was taken around their new home and on their property. We made sure to capture some more "traditional" family portraits, gather some fun ones, but Mom had also asked for something a little more "artsy". So before the end of the session we headed to the end of the lane to capture a few portraits of each of the girls separately and then together, so I could create something a little more whimsical. I love how their "fall pond" portraits turned out and I can't wait to see them printed!
Jessica, thank you for choosing me to capture your family portraits. You are raising three beautiful, strong willed, yet gentle hearted young women and I can't wait to see your family grow through the years. Enjoy!
