I'd like to introduce you to Miss Zariah, a class of 2024 senior from Benton High School. This young lady has been part of my 2023-2024 Senior Rep Team. Zariah has been the rep team hype woman all year and I'm going to miss her positive energy and big heart. She was accepting and sweet to everyone she met and truly made our sessions memorable.
Zariah took part in 4 stylized sessions as a senior rep. These sessions are over the top and certainly not your "traditional" senior experience. On top of some amazing shoots, Zariah has been donating her time and collecting donations for several of our sponsored local non-profits. Giving back to her community while building her confidence through the art of photography. It's been amazing to see her grow over the past year.
For Zariah's "regular" senior experience we had three days of shooting together. For her first session we wanted something a little girly but with an edge. We headed to the gorgeous Dubuque arboretum to take advantage of the beautiful flower gardens. We then headed to downtown Dubuque. Zariah was absolutely flawless in the black jumpsuit, super sweet and girly in her blue dress, and our tour of Historic Downtown Dubuque couldn't be complete without a trip to the river. We ended our evening with her car and a gorgeous sunset.
Zariah wanted to take on the Green Screen for her volleyball and basketball portraits. I loved her take on basketball with a street feel for wardrobe. Girl can get AIR! I was super impressed with her determination to nail the shot and thank her for all her hard work in studio. I loved the fierceness of her volleyball portraits and I wish her the best of luck in the upcoming seasons.
Last, but certainly not least. Zariah added on a session to capture some local spots. She is a home grown girl after all, and we needed get some Benton locations into her gallery. It was a bittersweet end to our time together.
I want to thank Miss Zariah and her family for choosing and trusting me to capture her senior portrait experience. I wish nothing but the best as she begins her senior year. Enjoy!
