This summer has been a whirl wind of senior, children, and family sessions. By far my seniors have taken center stage as well as demanded most of my calendar. I’ve loved every session, every senior, and every moment of the senior portrait experiences this year. Every year I am floored by the amazing seniors that I’m blessed to photograph. From the musicians to the scholars, the artists, and the athletes, my seniors absolutely ROCK. With that being said, I’m guilty of being terribly behind on blogging each session. They’ve swamped my time with sessions and reveals that I’m just now taking a breather to reflect on the summer season. It’s an awesome problem to have though.
Let’s start with Miss Emilie and her fabulous senior session. I’m a huge fan when a senior arrives to my studio and wants to do a mix of urban and “country”. I love photographing the stark difference and Emilie was a joy to work with and even brought her own hair and makeup team! (Thanks, Courtney!) I got to meet a wonderful little puppy and after a little begging and coaxing from her mother and I, we photographed a gorgeous dress which turned out to be one of my favorites from this session! During her reveal, to my surprise, Miss Emilie arrived with brownies for my long road trip. You are such a doll and I was so very grateful for the yummy treat. Miss Emilie you are a sweetheart, a gorgeous girl from head to toe, have a fantastic sense of humor, and I know you will do amazing things was you start your next chapter. Enjoy your portraits and thank you for the opportunity to capture your senior portrait experience.
