Gentle soul with a big heart

We continue to celebrate our Class of 2022 seniors with Miss Ella from Iowa Grant High School. Ella is one of the sweetest young women I've met this year. Her friendly and outgoing personality made for an effortless shoot and she's absolutely gorgeous! Ella's portrait experience took us on quite an adventure. We went a little old world vintage, a little country, mixed in some gorgeous sunsets, danced under the street lights, and got fierce in studio with an Xtreme sports portrait session. Let's get started!

During Ella's design consultation she expressed wanting to go a little more vintage with some old world Galena vibes. We hit up some of the classic locations but added in a trip to Grant Park as well. I love the different styles we captured during this portion of her session from girl next door to edgy editorial. Hurrying our way to the country side we hit up a gorgeous field for an amazing view and some incredibly stellar portraits. The hat portraits are to die for! I mean how cute is she in that butterfly top and floppy hat?! To end our first night we got into the water. Ella is the perfect example of big things come in small packages. A big personality, a big heart, and just the sweetest young lady made for lots of laughter and a great end to the evening.

To begin our 2nd day of sessions we met at the studio. Ella is active in cross country, track, and a cheerleader. We wanted to make sure to capture all of these passions. Green screen is always so much fun and a little challenging. I loved the mix of girly and fierce athlete during this session! Later that day we met back up for a dramatic night shoot. Night shoots are quickly becoming one of my favorites! I loved the red dress, leather jacket and sass set against the dramatic skyline. The twinkling city lights never disappoint and certainly add a whole other level of cool to a gallery.
