Introducing another one of my fabulous Class of 2022 seniors, Miss Jadyn, a senior from Monroe High School. Miss Jadyn came to me several years ago and was part of my first ever Tween Team. It's so awesome to see my tweens growing into such gorgeous young adults. I was so excited to get to help design her Senior Portrait Experience. Jadyn and her mom always bring such original ideas to the table to challenge my creativity. How can I not be excited?
For Jadyn's session we hit up all the best spots in the Historic Downtown Dubuque area as well as the gorgeous Arboretum and Mines of Spain. During the design consult Jadyn and her mom shared this amazing idea of a woodland styled hoop in a forest setting. The day of the shoot, seeing the hoop set up, it was beyond amazing! All the fall vibes in the colors and the dramatic dress to go with was PERFECT. It was head turning to say the least! This gorgeous dress combo would come into play once again during our spectacular sunset portraits overlooking the bridge and the water. My age creeped up on me a little during the middle of the shoot when I said her jumper and hair styling had all the early JLO vibes. At least Mom knew what I meant?! Seriously though the fashion for this session was so on point and just perfect for each location.
Jadyn came back for one more day of shooting with me to take on the epic 35' parachute dress. Not only is the parachute dress fantastic during a "normal session" but Jadyn wanted it styled as steampunk. All the heart eyes for this shoot. The gritty backdrop, the hair, the makeup, and the fierce young lady made for a perfect collaboration. I loved the outcome and creativity of these portraits!
I want to thank Jadyn and her Mom for choosing me to capture her Senior Portrait Experience. I wish you nothing but the very best for your future. Enjoy!
