I LOVED the fall color sessions with my seniors this year. In years past fall has been nothing but rain and very little spectacular color. This year it was IMPRESSIVE and I had the best senior sessions!
Miss Emma, a class of 2021 senior from Lancaster High School, is the type of senior I truly adore to photograph. She is so incredibly sweet, a little soft spoken but fearless, and she has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA just how beautiful she truly is on not only the inside but the outside as well. This session had everything... I loved the wardrobe, the fall color was amazing, the senior was so much fun, and the light to end our evening was spectacular.
Emma chose to design her session in and around downtown Dubuque to have portraits with a little bit of "Emma in the city" vibe. All we were truly missing was some Starbucks for our downtown session. It may have been a little chilly but it was perfect weather for layering her adorable outfits and popping some cute prints. Emma was a trooper and smiled through it all.
To end the evening, which was a first for me at least at sunset, we visited the Arboretum. The fall color in and around the Arboretum this year was breathtaking and I loved the navy dress set among the bold fall colors. The light was to die for and we even pulled off some "winter" style portraits as well.
Emma, you were a joy to work with and I thank you for choosing me to capture your senior portrait experience. You are such a kind person with a beautiful soul. You will do amazing things.
