Miss Hope was my last, but not least, Class of 2021 senior for the year. She was the perfect way to end a completely chaotic and unexpected senior season. Everything happens for a reason should be the motto for this year. After some unforeseen challenges, Hope came to me to capture her senior portrait experience. I was thrilled to have her as one of MY SENIORS for the year.
We designed her session with a little bit of an urban vibe but ended with some country sunsets. The leaves may have fallen in most places but we were still able to capture some GORGEOUS fall portraits. We started her session in downtown Dubuque. The architecture and buildings always provide such amazing backdrops and texture to a senior gallery especially when your senior brings a leather coat, cute flannels, and a winter hat! Hope's laugh is infectious and to say we had a lot of laughs during her session would be an understatement.
From downtown we headed to the country. One of my favorite backroads still had some color to show but the gorgeous light coming through the trees is what made this location STUNNING. Leaves or no leaves these fall portraits were amazing. The pop of pink made Hope's already stunning eyes POP and the added touch of something personal in remembrance of her Grandma was so sweet.
To end our evening we traveled to the water for some last minute sunset shots. The night was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and I enjoyed each moment working with this beautiful young lady.
Hope, Thank You for choosing me to capture your senior portrait experience. We were meant to meet and I hope we captured some memories you'll always remember. Enjoy!
