I'd like to introduce you to Beau, a class of 2024 senior from Southwestern High School. Since we, once again, have flurries in the forecast I thought it was the perfect time to share this young man's Senior Portrait snow session.
Beau is so laid back and easy to work with and I loved the fact that he wanted a snow session. These chilly sessions aren't for everyone, I understand, but the outcome is so worth it! What was important for Beau's session? Make him look cool (no pun intended) and include his dog Goose!
With fresh snow on the ground, manageable temps, we braved some of my favorite winter spots and headed to Beau's Grandma's house for sunset. The wardrobe was perfectly layered, we added in a touch of his passion for music, and ended our day with the best sunset.
Cameo appearance is made by Beau's dog Goose. She was a little camera shy but was one of the sweetest dogs I've photographed this year. How can you not fall in love with those sad eyes? I promise she enjoyed our company more in person than in pictures.
Fun fact, Beau's mom was a classmate of mine all through school. We graduated together in 2004 which made this session so bittersweet. I'm so proud I was able to capture her "baby" as he closes this chapter and starts a new.
Big thank you to Beau and his family for choosing me to capture these memories for them and for braving the elements. Beau, I wish you the best of luck as you finish your senior year and to your future ahead. Enjoy!
