Senior portrait season is starting to come to a close but we still have so many amazing Class of 2022 seniors to celebrate! Today I'd love to introduce you to Miss Grace, a senior from Southwestern High School and her love of all things art and music. I adored Grace from our very first meeting together. She is quirky, fun, not afraid to stand out, and her love for music and art is amazing. This talented young lady truly captures my creative heart with all the passions!
To start Grace wanted to bring her art and music into the studio and take on a Green Screen session. I've said it before, the green screen experience isn't just for our athletes and I loved that this session pushed our creativity a little farther outside the box. She brought in her own artwork, sheet music, her trumpet, and a sassy attitude. What developed was PURE AWESOMENESS. From neon lights to well thought out works of art, this session has it all and doesn't disappoint.
For Grace's "regular" session, we chose to head to the beautiful Dubuque Arboretum to take in all the color and beautiful flowers before heading downtown to hit up some of the murals. Of course this artist wanted to add some pops of color to her session! As much as I loved all of my time with Grace, my favorite moments by far were when she put on her power suit and yellow heels. WAY TO GO GIRL! From the top of the parking garage to the river walk, she owned her session! The evening ended with the most amazing and dramatic shots I've taken this year. I loved every one of her portraits from the riverwalk!
I want to thank Grace and her family for choosing me to capture her senior portrait experience and for pushing me creatively to capture all your talent! I wish you the very best as you continue your senior year and begin the next chapter. Enjoy!
