I'd like to introduce you to Tristan, a class of 2024 senior from Benton High School. Tristan is a Benton guy, so when he and his Grandma came to my studio to discuss his senior portrait experience, it was obvious we would stay in and around Benton for his session locations.
I love when a client brings me a location that is 1. new to me and 2. meaningful to them. We started our session on his Grandma's property where he has spent much of his childhood playing, camping and helping to maintain. It was beautiful and because Tristan was a late in the season session, the color was absolutely gorgeous! I loved that Tristan wore a suit to start his session. I'm a sucker for a senior guy that will dress up for a few portraits. Doesn't the light and the suit give you Mad Men vibes?!
To get a little edgier we headed for the graffiti tunnel. The entire session had that amazing fall light that I wish lasted all year long. From the flannels in the tunnel to the big skies down in the valley this was a wonderful location. To end our time together we headed for one of my favorite locations. The light peeking through the bridge was perfect. The leather jacket Tristan wore looked AMAZING next to the wrought iron texture of the old bridge.
Tristan and family, you were amazing to work with and I truly enjoyed our time together. You have raised a wonderful young man and I look forward to seeing all the amazing things he's going to accomplish. Thank you for trusting me to capture this milestone. Enjoy!
