It's officially fall which means, if you haven't heard holiday music yet, you haven't been to the mall and or hobby lobby! LOL Honestly, I'm one of those that would put a tree up the day after Halloween if I didn't think my husband would kill me. As it is, I like having the tree up for Thanksgiving. The past few years have been a little more difficult with timing because I've been preoccupied with my little person. However, things are starting to settle in and life doesn't seem as busy as it was before. I'm starting to think about what traditions I want to start with my daughter. Christmas is just more fun with kids. Granted, I'm the adult that still believes in the magic of Santa and all things whimsical about this time of the year. However, now it just seems even more special.
If you've been to my studio, you may have noticed one of my very favorite signs on the wall; "Children only have one childhood." I'm a big believer in letting children today be little for as long as possible. Enjoy the innocence, the imagination, and the overall joy of growing up. Celebrate the silliness and embrace the magic. With all that in mind, I have dedicated myself to providing whimsical inspired sessions over the years. From fairies, to princesses, Huck and Harriet Finn, and even Little Red Riding Hood, I enjoy letting my own creativity run while and transforming a session into something out of a dream for all my little clients. However, I've never had the opportunity (or enough space) to provide something for the Holidays.
All that has changed. I haven't gotten around to making a blog post yet because, dang it I want to take some amazing pictures first, but I have moved to a bigger better studio space that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. It's finally allowing me to do events and offer sessions I only dreamed of before now.
I am excited to announce my first ever Limited Edition Magical Holiday Sessions on Sunday November 4th 2018! I have two amazing sets to choose from this year: Cozy Christmas Night and Holiday Wishes. You can choose to book one setup or book both! Sessions are held indoors at my new studio in Benton Wisconsin, but don't worry, we will still be "playing in the snow"! Sessions are 15 minutes per setup. Due to the smaller scale of these sets I am only offering these for kids. All sessions come with a "Print Credit" that can be spent however you like; towards a print collection, a la carte, or digitals! I'm also super excited to be offering some specialty products for just my Holiday Sessions. I have gorgeous stone tiles displayed on easels, heirloom ornaments, and adorable Holiday storybooks. Special collections have been created that include the option for Custom Holiday Cards too! Check that off your to-do list! Could this get any better? Yes, you haven't even seen the amazing sets! Check out this year Holiday Session video below for all the visual details.

Mandi Mayernik - Hi Brandi!
Great question. I have two different sets that require two completely different looks such as wardrobe and props. My first set up is the "Holiday Wishes". Its a hot cocoa stand surrounded by fluffy white snow. I have "snowballs" for a snowball fight, glasses of milk and cookies, and would be better suited for fun outer wear clothing or sweater dresses!
My second setup is "Cozy Christmas Night" and is a Christmas themed bedroom set. Think reading the night before Christmas, cuddling under a warm blanket, and looking for Santa out the window. Holiday pajamas are a must for this set!
