IT FINALLY HAPPENED. The stars aligned and the universe said this is our year! Seriously though, the Vaughn family has been trying since 2021 to make this family session happen. With High School and College age kids, schedules are just hard. Add in the uncooperative weather and it's a perfect storm (pun intended).
Let me first say that I adore this family. I have had a class of... senior in front of my camera since 2020, and this amazing family traveled to Montana last summer for destination senior. To say this is a bittersweet ending would be an understatement. I'll never say it's our last session because I'm always happy to capture milestones for my clients. However, saying goodbye when the last senior of a family that I've shot for so long leaves my studio is a happy sad. I'm thrilled for all the memories, I'm thrilled for all the trust, and I'm blessed to have watched this beautiful family grow and evolve over the years but goodbyes are hard. I will choose to go with see you soon.
Our "last" session together was full of laughter, as expected, and even a surprise visit from the adorable River. (Not gonna lie, I wanted to steal the puppy). The light was beautiful on the old wrought iron bridge. I loved their wardrobe choice and the color blocking, and I appreciated the humor and goofiness brought by all the men of the family. (Was that bigfoot?!).
Thank you Vaughn family for allowing me to be part of your family's journey the past 4 years. I will miss you but I feel blessed to have been a small part of your adventure. Enjoy!
