As we continue to celebrate our Class of 2021 seniors we feature Miss Kiersten from Platteville High School. During our design consultation Kiersten wanted a mix of the "vintage urban" and "new urban". I would agree, it's hard to choose between the look of the "newer" downtown district of Dubuque with a little more edge and color VS the old world vintage charm of the Galena architecture. Make the decision easy AND GO WITH BOTH!
I loved the pop of color and the editorial feel that the mural portraits brought to Kiersten's session as well as the simple black tank and jeans for an edgier look. Once in Galena we continued with a simple and classic feel with the surrounding as well as her wardrobe. However, Kiersten wanted a touch of fun and something unique. The bubbles are always so fun and make for creative shots and (with a trusting senior) painting abstract color on the face to pull in her love of art and color was just perfect.
I want to thank Miss Kiersten and her family for choosing me to capture her senior portrait experience. Kiersten is a confident and strong young woman and I know she will do great things in her future. Enjoy!
