Rick + Rhonda - Engagement

I don't photograph weddings. However, every once in a while I have the pleasure of photographing an Engagement or Wedding Recreation session. I love these sessions!  Getting to work with a couple, learning their story, and capture their new beginning is pretty awesome. 

Rick and Rhonda came to my studio and I adored them right away. I could tell we were going to have a fun session. They shared such an easy going vibe and up for anything attitude. It made designing their session effortless. 
For our first location, we started at the beautiful Dubuque Arboretum. The flowers were in full bloom, the weather was excellent, and the light was stunning. What I loved about Rick and Rhonda was that it was so easy for them cuddle and adore one another during this session. No prompts necessary just LOVE. 

For our second location Rhonda and I may have talked Rick into getting in the water. This couples wedding is taking place in Florida. They have a beautiful home on a lake here in Wisconsin. So it was fitting we capture some water portraits.
Rhonda absolutely rocked her infinity dress. These portraits are dramatic yet effortless and I believe truly capture how much these two people love and respect one another.
