This year the studio added on to my ever so popular Rep and Ambassador program. It's always been on my bucket list to incorporate a way to give back to the surrounding communities through the studio and to include this into my empowerment program, The Candid Crew. Candid Community came to light this year as we sponsored four local non-profit causes. I challenged my Reps and Ambassadors to get involved, ask their friends and family for donations, and help some amazing organizations. In the process these Class of 2022 seniors were earning points as a competition to win a Scholarship through the studio for whatever their next chapter may be. I'm so incredibly proud of my Rep and Ambassador team this year. Each of our four sponsored non-profit donation drives were a HUGE success and it's something I hope they are equally proud of knowing what a big different there contributions made.
For our last Candid Community project we participate in Operation Christmas Child through the Lead Mine Primitive Methodist Church. "The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world." Through donations we gathered items that would fit inside of a shoebox to be shipped to underprivileged children around the world to help spread a little joy this holiday season. Items such as small toys, coloring books, personal hygiene items, etc... were packed to be brim with care into over 18 boxes through the studio. 18 boxes of Christmas magic to be sent to children in need this year! It was an amazing sight to see.
I want to thank all my Reps and Ambassadors that took part in Operation Christmas Child and helped make it's first year, through the studio, such a success. My heart is overjoyed and filled with gratitude. You all make me so incredibly proud!
