I love when my clients trust me enough to return and I get to see how their family has grown. I believe it's been three years since I've seen this gorgeous young lady. I had taken her big brother's senior portraits and her family's fall portraits. I recalled how absolutely stunning her eyes were during the family portrait session. Miss Kaitlyn has grown into a talented, sweet, and beautiful young lady. For her senior portraits we needed to make sure we captured her athletics and her adorable "fur babies".
To start her session we traveled around downtown Dubuque and took advantage of the urban textures and beautiful new murals. We made sure to stop and get a little fierce for some volleyball portraits and I love how dramatic these photographed.
For sunset we headed to the country. Not far behind was Mavery and Chips. This is my second time with a senior bringing a cat to a session. I was skeptical but the cats are nailing their portrait debuts! Everyone was all smiles, including Kaitlyn's Golden-doodle. The light, the location, and the fur babies made for some beautiful portraits. Before we lost the sun completely, we headed to the creek. Another one of my daring senior girls, Kaitlyn was all for getting in the water for some truly breathtaking pictures.
Kaitlyn, I want to thank you for choosing me for your senior portraits. I love your kind hearted soul and your love for all things furry is fantastic! I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. I know you will be a huge success!
