I've sat at my desk typing and retyping this blog post. Why? I don't know how to introduce this senior in a way to truly capture his big personality and do it justice. To know Connor is to expect the unexpected. I loved his sense of humor and his creative soul. It's not often I have a senior guy that is so invested in his senior portrait experience. I loved every minute of planning Connor's portrait experience and truly getting to know him and his story.
Let's talk about talent, an accomplished musician, Connor came to his session with many instruments in tow. I can't even quote how many instruments this young man knows how to play I just know it's in the realm of 15 to 20. If his musical talents don't impress you, he's also an athlete. Another year for me spent at a pool capturing swim portraits. I truly adore my swimmers. Fingers crossed for another one next year.
Back to Connor, this young man came to his consultation and knew what he wanted from his senior portrait experience. My job was to capture all the passion, all the talent, and his big colorful personality. He wanted something different than the norm and to have a good time. Well, I can tell you, and my seniors can agree, I enjoy having an awesome time during their sessions. When I approached Connor with the idea of a powder session to end the evening, he was ready and willing to get pelted by my assistant (thanks Mom). At the end of the day I hope that the portraits speak louder than my words and truly capture the heart and soul of this very talented young man. Connor, I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. Enjoy!
