I'd like to introduce you to Miss Ella, a class of 2024 senior from Benton High School. It was an absolute honor to have Miss Ella part of my 25 class of 2024 seniors this year. I remember the very first time I took portraits of Ella and her sisters as adorable fairies. I can't believe she's graduating already!
When Ella and her mom came into the studio to discuss the vision for Ella's session, I was super excited when she said she wanted pictures with her show cattle. On top of that we were going to check out some beautiful flowers and head down to the farm for something a little more country.
To start our session we headed to the beautiful Dubuque Arboretum. The rose gardens were absolutely beautiful in September. I loved Ella in this gorgeous orange dress. It was a perfect fit and a wonderful look for this location. Some people are just hat people, and Ella, you are a hat girl!
Next we headed for the farm to visit with the show cattle. You can tell how much Ella and her sister's work with these animals. They were more like curious puppies and all too happy to be part of Ella's portraits. The light at sunset was absolutely beautiful with the sun peaking through the clouds. It was a beautiful way to end our evening together.
Ella has decided to add on a winter session once the flakes start falling. Be on the look out for the continuation of her session.
Thank you to Ella and her family for choosing me to capture her senior portrait experience and for always trusting me to capture so many of your family's memories. Ella, I am so excited for your future. You have the biggest heart, you're so determined, and incredibly smart. I know you will do amazing things. Best of luck my dear.
