Winding down our senior season with just a few more Class of 2022 seniors to celebrate. Zach, a senior from Monroe High School, and his mom came to me for very specific reasons. He wanted portraits with his cars and she wanted portraits celebrating his swimming career. They wanted something different and unique and I was so up for the challenge. Out with the 'norm' so we turned up the volume on this super cool portrait experience.
To start we headed to historic downtown Dubuque with two cars and a handsome senior to capture. We wanted edgy and cool so we pulled out a leather jacket, made sure to show some attitude, and had a great time. Zach is such a down to earth, laid back, sweet guy but he could totally pull off the cool dude attitude. After "cruising" around downtown Dubuque we wanted to make sure we took advantage of some amazing sunset portraits with the bridge as our backdrop. This session was so perfect for lighting, subject, and styling.
The next day Zach and his mom headed back to my studio for an Xtreme Sports Portrait Experience on green screen. We made sure to capture not only swimming but his love for all this gaming as well. Zach was a trooper and nailed his poses for more of the "technical" shots and we had a ton of fun behind the scenes. Big shout out to mom for hanging all of the hardware that Zach has collected over the years for display.
Thank you to Zach and his family for choosing me to capture his senior portrait experience. Your family and a joy to work with and I look forward to seeing all the great things you accomplish in the years to come. Enjoy!
