I have been waiting to share this young man's session for weeks. Connor came to me as a referral from one of my Class of 2019 Senior Reps. He came to his design consult a little resistant. The idea of shopping for clothes for his session wasn't thrilling, however, he was adamant about wanting his tractor and his guitar(s) be part of his portraits. After 9 years I'm pretty use to senior guys walking into their design consults somewhat resistant. I can count on one hand the amount of senior guys that have been anxious and excited to get their portraits done. I will say, after their session, all of my senior guys tell me how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the experience.
Let's talk about Connor's session. This poor guy was one of the victims of horrible fall weather. We had to reschedule three times in order to get his portraits done. All good things come to those who wait! Our first stop was Woobine Bend Golf Course and oooh the wind we had that day. However, you'd never know by his portraits that he was freezing and that we were dealing with some crazy weather to start the day.
Connor emphasized how important it was to have his session on a few particular pieces of land. I was excited to see some new locations and they were AMAZING. We put a vintage red tractor in the weeds and it was something out of a painting. The light was amazing, the location was perfect, and then Connor pulled out his guitars. This is one for the books ladies and gentleman. This young man is not only one of the most down to earth senior guys I've have the pleasure of meeting but he's incredibly talented. I always make my musicians play. The moment he began to play he was a different person. He was comfortable and it was just effortless.
To end our evening we hit up a country road. When you have a Chevy and a down home farm boy, you just find a cool country road. Connor is very proud of his truck and I think he was just thrilled I let him put on a hat. This session will go down as one of my favorites and I want to thank Connor and his family for making that possible. Thank you for choosing me to capture your senior portrait experience. Connor's parents, you've done an awesome job. He's genuine in the best ways possible, his sense of humor is fantastic, and I know he will do amazing things in his future. Thank you.

Pat Brown - All of the David Brown family's pictures have been awesome, but it wasn't too hard for me to choose from Connor's! I have my favorites already.
