Artist At Heart - Lena Illinois Senior Portrait Experience

Let me explain something, it doesn't matter the type of art you produce. Once it's in your blood you thrive on the creativity for the rest of your life. I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow artist and creating a senior portrait experience for her to remember. Miss Marissa and her mom first met with me and said "we want something different". I'm certainly far from the traditional, so challenge accepted ladies!

I adored Marissa's personality and laid back sense of style. What captured my own creativity was her love of painting. This took me right back to my senior portraits, when I hauled in my painted canvases and took my portrait with them on easels. Cheesy, I know, but at the time I was like, YES THIS IS AMAZING. Luckily, Marissa and her mom were not afraid to be "different" and run with my crazy idea of "hey, lets paint your face during your classy, gorgeous, senior session. The product, amazing! Between her piercing eyes, infectious smile, and abstract art (super fun face paint), these portraits are some of my favorite. Not to mention, Miss Marissa ROCKED the rest of her urban session as well. Thank you ladies for being so much fun and allowing my crazy idea to happen.
