This senior season has brought so many firsts and it seems to have been the year of awesome horsepower and metal!
When Antone came into the studio to design his session he had the best attitude and was open to anything. However, the most important thing to him was that we make time to capture some of the big machinery located in his family's quarry. Um, yes?!
To start our time together we headed to Dubuque where Antone got his dapper on with a handsome suit. Absolutely love a senior guy that isn't afraid to dress up for his session and Antone, with that hat, did not disappoint.
Next we headed to his family's property to an amazing old barn. The mix between the suit and the rustic barn was awesome and I love the mood we captured with these portraits. The location was perfect for a rustic feel before heading into the quarry to end our evening.
Secret, I may or may not have been hanging off the back of a truck over some standing water for this portion of the session... totally worth it! Sunset in a quarry is quite possibly one of my new favorite things. The light for the end of our evening, as we visited "Shirley", was pretty epic and the "infinity" feel to end Antone's session was perfect.
Thank you to Antone and his family for choosing me to capture his senior portrait experience. I look forward to hearing all the adventures that are ahead for this young man. Enjoy!
