Annual Family Minis - Limited Availability

We're getting closer to that magical time of year where the weather cools down, pumpkin spice is the flavor of the month, and family portraits are a must! I know what you're thinking, "aren't you a little early this year Mandi?" Yes I am and that is because my season will be shorter this year. I will be taking a leave of absence starting Monday, October 3rd. My last weekend for shooting any sessions will be October 1st and 2nd. I'm doing this to ensure I will have everyones orders ready for the holidays. Don't worry! I'll be back in February of 2017! 

How does all of this effect my annual family minis? I will have two dates available and I'm only booking 5 per date. That's about half of what I normally offer so space is very limited and these minis fill up super quick! Along with the short season, minis will also include a reveal session at my studio in Galena Illinois. We will pop some popcorn, view your slideshow, and together we'll select the best portraits to be shared with friends and family, display in your home, and the all important holiday cards! Clients are loving the new reveal sessions as it takes all the anxiety out of choosing your portraits. I'm there to help answer questions, show you different options for wall display, and help you narrow down your galleries. 

What's included in this years family mini session? Family Minis are $299, with a $125 credit, 25 complimentary holiday cards, and sessions accomodate up to 5 people ($20 per person after 5). Sessions will be 20 minutes at a predetermined location. This year I will be shooting in downtown Dubuque, IA on September 10th and in Platteville, WI on September 25th. These sessions are great for updating the family portrait and getting updated portraits of the kiddos. I move quick and give a good variety. That being said, you can expect a gallery of 15 beautifully enhanced portraits to choose from during your reveal session. With all my sessions you will recieve an order credit to be used any way you like during your reveal session. This credit can be put towards a print collection, digital collection, or a la carte and collections start at $299.

**Due to the quick nature of these portraits I do recommend children be over a year old. I also do not recommend this session for familes with more than 7 people. 20 minutes is just not enough time to capture everyone beyond this number.
