As many of you know I'm a mom to a very active toddler. She is always on the go and as expected has started to develop the dreaded "photographer's child syndrome". I don't blame her, I've put a camera in front of her since the moment she was born. I'm sure she's over it by now. However, I'm desperately chasing after her to capture each moment in an effort to make time slow down just a little bit. I'm well aware how fast this time is going. The same advice is given over and over, "enjoy it while it lasts, they grow up so fast". She will be three in November and I swear we just returned from the NICU with a tiny little person only last week.
Some days I would love for time to speed up. The difficult days. The days where I'm exhausted and we are going through new challenges. However, it's the quiet moments when I breathe in all the cuddles, the kisses, and her infectious giggle that I plead for time slow down just a little more. I want to remember all the things and I'm scared I'll forget the tiny details that make these moments so precious.
I meet with new clients every week and I see the same look on the mom's faces as we discuss new milestones and reasons for their visit to the studio. Where did the time go? I can't believe he / she is turning 1 already. I can't believe she / he will be a senior. The time went by so fast! It's always the same sentiment and I'm always there to try to help time slow down. I want to celebrate these milestones with you just as much as we both want to pause time for a moment. Let me capture who they are, who your family is in this very moment, and ensure you'll be able to remember this moment forever as the clock keeps ticking.
I'm happy to offer my annual Limited Edition Fall Family Portraits. The ever so popular, sell out sessions, are back and I'm excited to announce I'm offering a summer date as well. If timing works better than dealing with fall sports schedules and activities, I am now going to have an August date, just in time before back to school craziness!
These sessions are perfect for updating the family portrait, preparing for holiday cards, and getting separates of each kiddo. Sessions are a quick 20 minutes in length (the boys and dads love that), will take place at a specific location, and each session comes with a print credit to be used towards the purchase of a collection or a la carte prints.
Due to the fast-paced nature of these sessions, I do not recommend this experience for families with children under 1 year of age (Please contact me about a full session). Fall Minis are 275 and come with a 125 credit to be used at your reveal session. You can expect 15 beautifully enhanced portraits to choose from during the reveal session. The reveal session is located at my studio approximately 2 weeks after your portraits have been taken and this will be when you place your portrait order. I have created special collections for these minis that include custom holiday cards. Collections start at 375.
Feel like you need more time than 20 minutes? Have large and extended families that would like to have group portraits taken? I still have dates available for full family portrait sessions that include 60-90 minutes of shoot time, up to two locations, and a wardrobe change if necessary. Full portrait sessions include an in-studio design session to plan the vision for your portraits and to help plan how you'd like to display your new art! Contact me today for booking information.
