Senior season is coming to a close and what a way to end all of my sessions with this beautiful Class of 2020 senior from Savanna High School in Illinois. I first met Miss Mariah a few years ago during her families portrait session and I was thrilled to see her back in my studio to plan her own senior session. Mariah wanted a little mix of the urban and the country so we headed for The Millwork District in Dubuque to capture the great texture in these old buildings and the vintage charm of Bluff Street. Thanks to her big sister for helping with some lighting, these portraits really captured miss Mariah's sassy personality before we headed off to the country for some beautiful sunset portraits.
The light was amazing and the view is always spectacular just outside of Benton. Hands down this was an evening with some of the best sunsets we had all year. It didn't hurt that Miss Mariah was absolutely adorable too!
Mariah also chose to do a night session. I love these sessions because it adds a whole other depth to a senior gallery. Again, we stayed around the Millwork District to capture the street lights against the old buildings. Her white dress and leather jacket was a perfect combination against the city lights.
A big thank you to Mariah for choosing me to capture her senior portrait experience. I can't wait to see all the things this young lady will accomplish in her future. Best of luck to the rest of your senior year. Enjoy!
