Family is everything to me. It's probably why I love helping to capture the love of other families through portraits. During this years Limited Edition Family Fall Sessions I had two families that chose to include multigenerational portraits. These portraits have captured my heart this year. Seeing generations of strong, beautiful, vibrant women all together for a portrait was inspiring. The emotion, the stories, the love, and the laughter just grab you in each of these portraits.
Kristen, my niece as well as one of my class of 2020 Senior Reps, invited her Great Grandma, Grandma, and Mom to join her for this truly once in a lifetime session. It's amazing to see all these beautiful women lined up in a row and with each of their differences you see SO MANY similarities. Smiles, noses, dimples... it's easy to see who shares what but for me the hands always tell the greatest story. I knew I wanted to accomplish this shot and it wasn't until after the session we realized that Deb "Grandma" was wearing her Grandmother's ring. In this one portrait 5 generations of women were represented. It was perfect.
